Vibrating Screen – The First Gatekeeper of Your Pulp Mill
The vibrating screen is a key piece of equipment applied for coarse screening in the papermaking pulping process. It is mainly installed after the cooking stage to remove large impurities from the pulp. The vibrating screen is crucial for protecting subsequent fine screening equipment, refiners, and paper machine wires, and can be considered the “first line of defense” in the pulping line.

Structure And Working Principle
A vibrating screen mainly consists of a feed box, screen frame (including screen plate), vibration damper, pulp tank, water spray pipe, and transmission device.
A motor drives an eccentric block to rotate, generating excitation force that causes the screen frame to vibrate continuously on an elastic support. After the pulp enters the screen frame, good pulp falls through the screen holes into the pulp tank under the action of vibration and gravity and is discharged; coarse residue (knots, sand, plastic flakes, etc.) bounces continuously along the screen surface and is discharged from the tail end.
Vibrating screens are essential coarse screening devices in pulping systems. Customized configurations are available to meet different production needs.
