Automatic Pulp Machine Ragger
On waste paper pulping line, the ragger serves as a coarse screening and purification machine applied in conjunction with a hydrapulper; the ragger causes impurities within the waste paper to continuously rotate and intertwine during the pulping process, forming a rope-like strand that is continuously extracted and discharged, thereby achieving preliminary purification of the pulp.

Ragger Features
Continuous Removal: Long-strand contaminants—such as baling wires and plastic strips—are continuously extracted while the pulper is running, eliminating the need for shutdowns.
Simple Structure: Features a vertical frame assembly comprising a main roller, a rider roller, a guide arm, and a rope-cutting mechanism, ensuring easy maintenance.
Synergistic Pulping: Works in tandem with the hydrapulper to prevent contaminants from wrapping around the rotor or clogging downstream screening equipment.
Smart Upgrades: The automatic ragger unit reduces manual labor; adjustable pulling speed and tension prevent rope breakage.
Broad Raw Material Compatibility: Suitable for OCC, mixed waste paper, and more.
Enhanced Purification: Pre-removal of long-strand contaminants creates stable operating conditions for subsequent coarse and fine screening stages.
If you are planning a waste paper pulping line or looking to upgrade the contaminant removal capabilities of an existing pulping section, we will provide recommendations for selecting the appropriate ragger.
