Refiner Manufacturer – Quality Pulping Equipment

The refiner is a key piece of equipment in the pulping and papermaking process. While the hydralic pulper breaks down the raw material into fibers, the refiner “fine-processes” the fibers—giving them the properties required for papermaking.

Pulping Machine Refiner Specification

Double disc refiner: The most common type. It contains four grinding discs inside the casing—two rotating discs on either side of the main disc, which work in conjunction with a fixed disc and a moving disc to form two grinding zones. The pulp enters the two zones through two separate inlet pipes, is ground, and then combined for output. Its characteristics include high capacity and high efficiency, with daily processing capacities ranging from several tons to hundreds of tons.

Conical refiner: The grinding discs are conical in design, and the pulp is ground within the conical gaps. Suitable for the grinding needs of specific pulp types.

Refining is the most crucial step in the pulping process, requiring precise matching of processes. Different raw materials and paper types necessitate different refining methods—long fibers are suitable for high-strength paper made with high-consistency refining, while short fibers are suitable for cultural paper made with low-consistency refining. Choosing the right refining method and equipment configuration is essential for ensuring the quality of the paper produced. Contact us at your convenience. Our email: leizhanmachines@gmail.com
